A recent update highlights the 1987 Fatehabad Bus Massacre, where five Khalistani terrorists carried out an attack on July 7, 1987. It has been noted that the jeep used by the terrorists was reportedly hired from Hanumangarh, Rajasthan. This incident was part of a coordinated campaign of terror, occurring less than forty-eight hours after the Lalru Bus Massacre on July 6, 1987.During the Fatehabad attack, terrorists hijacked a Firozpur–Delhi bus, killing the driver and later firing upon passengers near Dariyapur village, resulting in the deaths of thirty Hindu passengers. They subsequently abandoned the bus, seized an ambassador car, and intercepted another Haryana Roadways bus, firing upon it from outside. The combined death toll of the two massacres in less than forty-eight hours reached 74, targeting ordinary Hindu passengers on public buses.
